I bought a new mic for my pc and I pluged it in and all but I had auto wizard on my old pc and it helped me out cant find it on here could someone help me with this please.

All you need to do it plug it into the right socket on the back or front of your computer its the pink socket I believe. If it is not colour coded then plug it into the socket that has a small picture of a microphone near it.

Click on Start, the choose Control Panel. Under Control Panel click on Sound and Audio Devices. You will see a block that says Voice Recording. It has a Volume button, click on that to make sure the volume is at least half way up. There is an Test Hardware button also to test your hardware. Best of luck
