That's a poorly stated question, but if by "released" you mean when he made his major label debut, that would be in 1999 when he released his first commercial CD, "The Slim Shady LP." Prior to that, Eminem recorded an underground album, entitled "Infinite," in 1996. Technically that's the only "album" other than the four we are familiar with now, as everything else was either an EP, a mixtape, or a bootleg.
