Seems like he was just getting you to admit your guilt. It appears it worked and I'm assuming you plead guilty and didn't waste the courts time. We he said "sn't that right", you had the right answer for them but the wrong answer for you. It was more or a less a polite insult, he was calling you a good guy but stupid and hardheaded.

Mabye he was just giving you a compliment and you just did not understand it.

I think that it should be noted that people who misunderstand a compliment should ask for clarification.

Man 1982 ! and this bugs you starting now ? or has it been bothering you all of these years. Wow !

He was probably looking at the way you presented yourself in court and your record. The majority of people are "good people". It's just the 10 percent or so that make it their goal in life to be "bad people".

Sounds like you are drunk now, and still as stupid to think he was saying something good about you! You can't even comprehend sarcasm or spell check for sentencing. I hope this was a joke and nobody is really this stupid!

You're good people to them because they're scoring quite a bit of revenue off of your fines.

maybe that he hadn't ever seen you in there before, you just made an oops, and he wasn't to concerned with the possibilty of seeing you again. ---You're a good person that had one bad night of judgement.

Probably because you presented your self well and had a clean record up until that point.

it is sad that after 24 years you still dwell on a polite comment.

He probably said it to be polite and to encourage you to behave correctly.
