I have watched football my whole life. My very first game is something i will never forget. My dad told me he wanted to go down on the filed. we where right in front of the stands behind the post. All of a sudden here comes hayden fry. I had no idea who he was. he walked past us and my dad told him it was my first Hawkeye game. Hayden stopped right in front of me and sai " hey little lady, welcome to hawkeye football" and shook my hand. i was hooked right there and when i found out who he was..my mom had to force me to wash my hand.

Thats cool. I went to see my best friend out of town. her BF came in and said " i bet you ladys are going to shop when the game is on. than he looked at my friend and said " woman..get me a beer" i totally lost it.

OMG I love football!! I was always the one playin w/ the guys during gym in school and in the backyard. If I miss my boys play I freak out. and I have lucky socks that I wear!! lol
Funny thing too is that I asked my hubby for 3 things for Christmas and 2 of them involved football.......... a fathead (which he got.. i found it) and a Shockey jersey! :)

Football is so awesome and for now my favorite memory of all time will be sharing it with my daughter. She is 1 1/2 an for 3-4 hours every Sat. she sits and watches with me yelling, Go Go Go and throwing her hands up for a touch down. For X-Mas Santa is bringin her a jersey while her cousin is getting a cheerleaders outfit. :)
Then durin the week she tries to tackle the boys.
Just wish my hubby new what a football was for :(
Oh well I love it and that's all that really matters.

I am with Maria, the first answer on here. I grew up with Notre Dame, and the football program. I watched as many games as i could. I just absolutly love the game. I don't think i could live with out football.
