She is also not pictured on the main picture with the other girls when the show first starts, does anybody know why?

I read that this was because of her ROLE as Edie Britt. but many have written in and complained and they want to start seeing a lot more of her. I read that she will become more prevalent as time goes on... and rightfully so.. she is talented and beautiful and deserves every BIT as much of the spotlight.

She was originally cast as a temporary character apparently but they kept her because she became one of the more popular characters on the show

Is she the one who's gonna be on the new ABC series debuting next week? I really don't know which desparate housewife it is, but one of them is starting on a new show next week.

Her character is only a supporting character. She was not designed to be one of the four leads. Her character is too one-dimensional and shallow to be featured full time.
