Modifies the console in order for it to play burned games .. so you can burn a copy from a friends game (if you can get by the copyright protection on the disc itself).

A modchip allows you to play any games that you burned on the PC. When you insert the copy game, the modchip fulls the console into thinking that it is a legitimate cd/dvd, then the game loads. if y have a ps2 u dont need a modchip

u just need a flip top cover (if u have an original ps2)
