It's legal but it can be a medium for illegal activity as are lots of sites, even this one.

If you violate their rules then your site will be shut down.

Yes myspace is legal.. And it is on the internet available at http://myspace.com

Although myspace _can_ be shut down, it likely wont be because it earns or will earn significant revenues for it's parent company so they will keep it online as long as possible..

Myspace is legal and cannot be shutdown..I have a myspace. Myspace is popular because it is where friends can meet new friends. It is up to the user to secure his account. It is not Myspaces fault when something happens to your account.

It is legal and I doubt Rupert Murdoch would shut down a site which has 3-6% of the world's population on it! Myspacee is a huge revenue generator... Look at all the ads everywhere...

Yes it is, but barely. Bad things happen because stupid people give all their info. online like their age and address. How stupid can someone get?? But still, it is as legal as seeling candy.
