I've heard the Macbooks get pretty hot. So the fan probably comes on quite a bit. Are the fans loud or fairly quiet.
I'm thinking about getting a Macbook. My current laptop's fan is very loud and gets pretty annoying. One thing I don't want to do is buy a new laptop and have that same problem. So, I'm hoping Macbooks aren't like that.
Any input from Macbook owners is appreciated. Thanks.

I own a number of laptops and also helped friends purchase laptops over the years (DELLs, HPs, IBMs). I recently purchased a MacBook Pro and it's by far the best computer: most quiet, most beautiful,a lot of small details to enhance your computing experience. My is a bit warm after extended use but still much better than my Dells (scorching hot!!!)

I had a similar excellent situation, I actually have a Macbook too and it made that sound. All you truly might want to do is sparkling the fan by taking to out or you would purely might want to get a sparkling fan. make sensible that the fan isn't blocked by something and is mostly sitting on a cushty floor compared to carpet and a mattress. wish that helps!!!!!

They do get hot, but probably the same as any other Intel Core Duo 2 laptop.
The fan is not noise at all.
You will like it.
