=I think that people from India have a hard time explaining what they need to customer service people due to the language barrier. I learned that sometimes the clerks can be down right mean and embarrassing so I have stepped in on occasion to help by asking for the manager and explaining the problem. Especially at this time of year the stores will just hire anyone and they really don't care at all. Also many are over-worked for low pay and tend to loose their patience easily.

I won't name the store but I went in to have pictures scanned at the do-it-yourself photo kiosk and had put in 90 pictures. I asked the clerk (I won't name him here) to help me figure out how to get these scanned in pictures onto a CD. He asked me to repeat my question, which I did. He started pushing buttons and as I was reading instructions on one frame that said "...by doing so, you will lose all previous work...are you sure?" I immediately said, No. He clicked Yes, looked at me and said, Huh? I looked at him and said, I think you just lost all my pictures. Again, he said, Huh? I said, I just stood here for one hour scanning photos to make a CD. Where did the pictures go? Two people were in line behind me and one guy said, I think you lost them. I was livid. I asked the clerk again, where are those pictures I just scanned in. He said, Wait ma'am, I get help.

Long story short, yes indeed, he had pushed the wrong button and the slop that came to help said, I don't know what to tell you. I said, I don't think he really knows what he's doing - why is he helping customers?

Resolution: I wrote a letter to the corporate office, who responded immediately. I sent a copy to the location where the incident happened. The supervisor of the department called me and spoke in horrible English an apology. He did send a gift card to download iTunes (whatever those are). I gave the gift card to someone else. I never use that place for photo scanning. I go to another store that charges a little more but the clerks speak English and know what they are doing. I learned never to let someone named Bambi help me again.
