There are basically two types of magic. "Magic" is pretty much stage magicians work, like sleight of hand tricks and such. The other kind of magic is usually distinguished by a "k" (magick), in this way we are more specific of what type of magick we are referring to. **WIZARD-FROM ANGLO-SAXON WYSARD (m.), " A wise one. A usually solitary practitioner of magick and repository of arcane knowledge. A loremaster. 1. a sage. 2. a magician; conjurer; sorcerer.
Magick can be performed by anyone willing to believe in it as it requires your strong will and intentions to work. Magic is usually performed in a ritual setting to achieve better results. Since a spell would be sent by a thoughtform or spoken out loud first, then it would manifest on this plane last. Dragons do currently exist on an astral level, in the past they may very well have existed on this plane too. The great mighty dinosaurs were proven to exist, and a dragon resembles them in many ways. The pterodactyl was most likely a dragon.
Most of the old stories were based from real Kings and Knights of the Celts and others. Read some of the old tales of the Celts, I think you would find them very interesting.

Yes I believe in magick. I believe the legend of King Arthur is a blending together of many heros of the time that eventually became the tale of Arthur. I personally have no idea what happened to Arthur - perhaps he is still living on the isle of Avalon waiting for the right time to come back and save his people once again when the right time comes. Yes I know magick is still out there. Go to any wiccan web site or go to a large book store like Borders and you will find books on magick. I practice it myself (no I'm not kidding). Magic spells are a little like receipes for getting energy to move in the right direction for you; for good purposes of course. No hexing .

According to many anthropologists, magic works as long as everyone around believes in it. For instance, if somebody stole something of yours and you got someone to put a curse on whoever stole it, and word got around about it, that person might not want to risk the effects of a curse and may return what he stole.
I read a statistic that about 10,000 people in the U.S. practice witchcraft. So yes, magic is still around, but whether or not it's "real" magic is a matter of perspective.

I am sorry to say that although I love those stories, they are just stories. It would be lovely to say that unicorns and faeries are real too, but no.
The truth is that there is enough beauty and wonder in the world that magic is not needed. Dew on spiderwebs. Sunrises. The laughter of children...

H yeah i do!!! my reason...give me proof that i shouldn't!! and besides, there are so many unexplainable things in life, that are probably magickal. and aarthur was taekn to avalon after his battle with mordred, where he awaits to return and save britain....damn...i live in the US...................o.O and many people don't see magick because there is such a low belief in it.....kinda like in peter pan when tinkerbell is dying bacuse people don't beleibe any more....once you stop beleiveing, then you can't see it or feel it anymore!!! adn there are other things like love that is a purely magickal thing, and i've heard pregnancy and motherhood is magickal as well, but those are magics of a different kind than you mean.
