I don't remember any of the lyrics to the song, but I remember the woman was black and she had really short (like a quarter inch or shorter, I think) hair that was dyed a blondish color, and the end of the video had her standing with a bunch of people around her. She was singing about not needing a man or something, I think. Again, I don't really remember all that well. I was around 10 when I last heard the song or saw the video. I think the song came out sometime between 1992 and 1995. I really need the name of this song! Please help me if you can! Ten points in it for the correct answer (and I'll try and follow the other answers you give so I can vote for them with the possibility of earning you more points!)

noble try handy girl, but TLC sang creep, and none of these answers have been correct. If it helps, at the end of the video, she was wearing a tank top and a pair of black or brown pants I think. It was around the same time that Lisa Loeb came out with "I Missed You".

sounds a lot like a song called What a Man by Salt n Peppa or a song called Creep & for the life of me all I can remember was that the bandmembers were in pajamas. The song centers around if her man can creep around on her - same goes.

Gave it my best shot. Further thought - En Vogue - Song was Never gonna Get it (my love). Now that I can't get it out of my mind - do tell. I think they may have done Creep also. All strong possibilities - but then again most strong female artists have a song with a sort of Oh No You Don't song for players (men) god bless em.

Description of girl makes me think of the girl from the group Mr President. Remember them? They had a huge hit(???) in 94 with Coco Jumbo. Good luck cheers!!
