i live in lousiana and my favorite thing is the beauty of the nature and the FOOD!!! my worst part isthe mosquitos and how eveyone thinks we are dumb and have bad accents... tahts not true... for all of us. lol

Hey Homegurl, I live in Terrebonne Parish. Originally from Puerto Rico, but met me a sweet southern belle while stationed at Fort Polk, and stayed, after I got out, right after the first Gulf War. I love the fishing, the old world culture that you see everywhere, and most especially the food. This is home, I hope to one day be buried in one of these bayous. Hopefully that won't happen for a long time, at least not before I eat me another couple of tons of "mudbugs"...
Almost forgot, the mosquitos SUCK!!!

I don't think people from Louisiana are dumb or have bad accents. I'm personally not from there, but I know alot of people who are. I think yall are great and the food rocks! I'd be happy to go there someday.

Oh my gosh!! I love ya'lls accent! My son used to live in Louisiana and when we went to visit him I just loved the beautiful country side and the trips we took. Saw a few very large alligators which made me nervous but as Carl said "don't mess with them and they wont mess with ya!" The food was fabulous! Almost as good as our brisket here in Texas..Would come back to visit anytime!

I live in Texas but I love Louisiana and Yall's accent are great too...I have friends from Baton Rouge I remember visiting every year when I was younger...My parents and my older siblings lived there before I was born...In fact my brother was born there...So i love it...the people are friendly and the food is great....
