Well you could use some make up to cover it or wear a nice sheer shawl that is comfortable but doesn't take away from the dress. You could also just wear the dress and rely on people being adult enough to know the mark is a birth mark.

I think the best answer is not to be ashamed of something that makes you unique. However, I also understand that if you've been embarrassed by this birthmark for your entire life, enough so that you intentionally cover it up, it's not that simple. I suggest, as others have, to find a concealing foundation that matches your skin tone. Full service make-up counters at most higher end department stores will be happy to help you with this. This would be my short-term suggestion. Over time, find situations where you can leave the birthmark exposed. With determination, you will be able to go more and more places without hiding it and will become less self-conscious about it.
Good luck! :)

You should be proud at the fact that you have something so unique on yourself, I know it would be pretty hard if you have image issues but otherwise dont worry hun, OR you could where a light scarf as a cool accessorie, tye it at the side and let it hang down over your collar bone

Have you ever tried to put make up on it so it looks a little less inconspicuous?
Also, you could just live with it...if its there, its there. I know of a hot chick who had a birthmark on her chest, a little below her collar bone, all her scoop neck and v neck t's showd it. She was used to it, but people would say stuff..it was kind of pinkish red, compared to her tan skin...one gross guy said 'did you get a hickey'? and she said, "no, my girlfriend kissed me"

There is make up called theater make up its thicker then normal foundation it will cover it up with out rubbing off on your clothes. You can find it at Dillard's its a bit on the high priced side but I think you will find that it will eleveate the stares of "oh we know what you've been doing" Good luck

You can use makeup. Also if something like that is always going to upset you, you should look into removing it or covering it up with a tattoo. A tattoo wont completly cover it but it will blend it in.

You can try to cover it with make up. use concealer, then powder. You might have to layer it at least once but not too much or it will look cakey. Good Luck!
