Actually, it's less of a haunting and more of a plaintive cry, and it came for a total stranger

"There is greatness within you, even if you cannot see it. But it will come out."

My First AA sponsor, Holly's! I have been in sick, abusive relationships and situations all my life, and taught that it's not LADYLIKE, to defend oneself. Holly pointed out that NO OTHER HUMAN CAN SPEAK FOR ME, AS WELL AS i DO IT, FOR MYSELF.

Holly says, "Stand UP".
Simple...me and my words DON'T HAVE TO SAY A THING. I simply need to STAND. To take my place in the world means to honor my right to a spot here.

I'm going to be 19 years sober in Jan. Holly IS RIGHT.

It's not so much what they said, it was the look in their eyes what bothers me the most is not what they said but it's what I said to them. It's the words that I leave behind.....
