i am 16 years old, i got pregnant in june of 2006, and i had a miscarriage in november...i was 9 weeks and 6 days.
Since then i had one normal period. I have had no sexual contact with my boyfriend, as he lives 7 hours away from me.
I am begining to get worried because i am 45 days late for my period..and i have no signs in getting it. My grandma thinks i'm pregnant, but i know for a fact i'm not.
I need help, what is wrong with me?

You're 16 and under a lot of stress. That doesn't mean you're abnormal. If you really are concerned about a legitimate medical problem and KNOW you aren't pregnant, you could go to your gynocologist.

After a miscarriage your period can be really weird for a while.
Why not take a test just to show grandma you're not pregnant.
Anyway, you can basically say you skipped two periods, not that you're 45 days late. I really think it's the miscarriage that messed them up. Especially since you're still young and they're not really "set" yet.
You could get on birth control and that would help regulate it. Or if you want to bring on a period without birth control (since you're not having sex anyway), try taking an herb called Chaste Tree Berry. It's also called Vitex or the Latin name is Agnus Castus. It helped regulate mine when I didn't want to be on BC.
If that doesn't work, though, you should see a doctor to make sure it was just the miscarriage that's screwing with your cycle. It could be a symptom of something more serious.

Hello! This is the new age for pete's sake! Why get yourself preggie and hold yourself down with a bunch of nonchalant screaming kids?16 is youth, man! Concentrate on your studies. You're not living in a wayback country not in Hitler's regime, you know.
By the way, if you didn't have any sexual contact, you shouldn't be pregnant. My period hasn't come for 90 days. go figure.

I am sorry to hear you had a miscarriage. Usually after a miscarriage the menstrual cycle can be delayed for a few months. My menstrual cycle was absent for 4 months when I had my miscarriage and then it resumed to normal. If you feel any pain in the abdomen, then you should see your doctor.
Good Luck.

Your dates aren't matching up you would've been farther along if you said you got pregnant in June and miscarried in November you'd of been at least 16 weeks

After a miscarriage, it can take a little while for your periods to get back to normal. I had the same thing happen to me. It can take up to 3 months for it to be normal again.
