On defense if you play Point or shooting guard then your job is to steal the ball. Get low to the ground, hands out to the sides, only go for a steal when you are 100% sure. Instead move your feet and slide with them. Try to force them away from the hoop. How to stop a player charging at you; plant your feat and stand in front of the opponent, when your hit keep your hands up or they might get injured(I sprained my hand doing this.)But at least it's a foul on them!

best O is the triple O (kinda like the triangle offense) its where 3 players are the focus of scoring (usually the center, swing man, nd shooting guard but last year i was the power foward nd i was one of the 3) nd u have point guard who is a great disher who can drive into the paint get fouled nd hit the free throws with ease nd a power foward that is a good rebounder

now for D i like the full court press but u cant always do that so i guess the 3-2 is the best where u have 3 guys up fron nd 2 in the back. nd if they r a good 3 shooting team then stick with the man 2 man

Too much work, even for me that coaches and troubleshoots player's and team's basketball woes. Can't shoot accurately, I correct shooting mechanics. I went to a Texas Longhorn game. Kevin Durant is a great talent with a great outside shot. He needs a lot of work on his inside game. He needs to pack on a whole lot of muscle. Texas' half court offense sucks big time. Needs more motion and more low post screening. They need to find a real live point guard. That team won't make the sweet sixteen. I know basketball inside and out, but I am not going to devote days to answer your question. Dig for it. There are websites that can help you. Just google it.
