When I am turned on
it usually takes me about 5 minutes
for it all to happen
is that too short of time?
is this normal?

I think 5 or 10 minutes is usually the norm. 15 or 20 every now and then for some, if you're really worried about it, see a doctor.

So I can look at a good looking guy for about 1 minute and be turned on and the next four minutes getting turned off cause he is picking his nose in public....is that normal? =)

LUCKY!!
After 2 kids my turn on factor only initiates through make out sessions which my husband hasnt participated in in about hmmm 1 1/2 YEARS heheh
I think thats about normal . . depending on HOW you are getting your jollies. Quicker for direct stimulation and a little longer for indirect.
ps i dont find this question as offensive and vile i think its plain ol curiousity . . . so :P to the one who said that and who said he was gay? hmm i missed that one

sometimes you might get turned on quick and other times it takes forever
