They sure do. Although we're all a part of the American culture & share many similarities, black people have a point of view that is uniquely theirs & their behaviour reflects it. Just as southerners or easterners or any other group of people you can think of.

A health teacher once told me she gave assignments to her class to act out a short play on a social issue. White kids, she said, always did their's on suicide, and black kids always chose gang violence... the point she made was that there are similar forces in both groups but they choose very different outlets for those forces.

I think it's the same for all of us. Though we are all driven by the same things, we still as cultures choose very different ways to get there.
