make simple answers i dont know alot about computers

I UPGRADED TO MP11 AND TRIED REINSTALLING IT , STILL DOES THE SAME

uninstall it and install the new one should fix it, either that or use a better media player ;-). if your desperate you can goto your start menu then run, and type in mplayer2 to use media player 6......yes M$ still packs that, even with Windows XP SP2 lol :)
