Where were you married? Massachusetts is the only state in the US that recognizes gay "marriages". Vermont, New Jersey, and Connecticut all have some form of civil union or domestic partnership. The Netherlands, Belguim, Spain, Canada, and the newest, South Africa, all have gay marriage laws. Gay marriages are also recognized in Isreal, but aren't performed there. The two sites below explain it all. Hope this helps!!

How about:
Belgium, Brazil, Canada,Cambodia, Denmark,France,Germany, Greenland, Hungry,Iceland, New Zealand, Netherlands,Norway, South Africa,Sweden, Spain, Slovenia, and there are more, I have a whole file on these countries their laws and variations of rights on this issue and the US is disgustingly behind the times.
You truly are not legal anywhere in the US you are pacified but not legal when are people going to understand that.

Very few places. I know my own country, New Zealand, now has "Civil Unions", open to same-sex partnerships. If you wanted to live here, you might have to (re-)register under it.
But you'd then be a perfectly 'normal' couple, with all the same rights of inheritance, 'Next-of-Kin' status, etc.

For the post above, no, not just about everywhere ... by comparison, almost nowhere.

being a union and saying your vows infront of family and friends should be enough for you. Who cares what papers say most states now allow same sex patners to share benifits. But to answer your question pretty much no where.
