Just to tell the guy/girl who said Japan will qualify and Saudi Arabia wouldn't. Saudi Arabia has defeated Japan... in their latest meetings, they go up of Japan, Australia, and then South Korea/Iran, and UAE also may qualify..

it is still too early to know which team will surely be at the 2010 FIFA World Cup finals. from the European section, the big guns of Europe such as GERMANY, ITALY, FRANCE, ENGLAND, PORTUGAL, NETHERLANDS, SWEDEN & SPAIN will definitely be there plus some underdogs like CZECH REPUBLIC, DENMARK & GREECE. NORWAY, REPUBLIC OF IRELAND & CROATIA is the other possible qualifiers from Europe.
CAMEROON, NIGERIA, SENEGAL & GHANA will represent Africa plus SOUTH AFRICA who qualified automatically as host nation.
the Asian teams will likely be the same line-up as the 2006 FIFA World Cup, JAPAN, KOREA REPUBLIC, SAUDI ARABIA & IRAN plus AUSTRALIA.
BRAZIL, ARGENTINA, ECUADOR & URUGUAY will qualify from the South American section.
the North & Central American & the Carribbean will be represented by the big two, MEXICO & UNITED STATES plus COSTA RICA & HONDURAS.

Yeah, South Africa doesn't even have to qualify to proceed to the WC 2010...
All I care is Germany has to qualify!!!!!!

Its always the same teams, usually the small countries are the ones that have to really vie for a spot (T and T, Ghana). Rarely does a big country (like England in '94) not qualify.
