First..get a really good trim, 'cuz nothing is going to fix damage but that! Then condition like crazy everyday, and let it sit in your hair for a few minutes. Leave-in conditioner is a great thing! Fekkai Glossing Cream works, but so do many cheaper items. You want a product that is going to 'coat' your hair. ;-D

sounds like you need conditioner and a trim. A glossing cream will make it shiny, but that may be short lived. If its so dry, it may absorb the product and not really work.

First: If you dont already, use a conditioner in the shower after you wash your hair. Also or instead, use a leave in conditioner to soften your hair. Go to a beauty supply store and ask someone there for a good leave in conditioner.

I use soy based products by Sexy Hair, much less expensive and does a good job.

Then look into shine and gloss products to finish your hair after styling. Ones that spray on usually are less heavy and just shine. The ones that are more thick have more oils and will weigh your hair down if you use too much. Usually good for thick or curly hair.

Good luck and have fun playing around-its exactly what Ive been doing lately!
