get her whatever size you can afford. if its just a small bottle then so be it. that way she can see if she really likes it first and she can save it to wear on special occasions. also, try going to places that sell it and look at the gift sets. sometimes you can get a set with a lotion or something for pretty much the same price you can buy just the bottle...especially at Christmas time. or maybe another family memeber will want to go in on it with you can make it a gift from the both of you.

Wow. That's a highly rated perfume. It must be good, though I'm personally not much for vanilla.
I recommend at least a 1.7 ounce. I go through a 1-ounce bottle of my favorite Bath and Body Works Le Couvent Des Minimes verbena and lemon body splash in fewer than 3 months. Figure out which is the best deal, or bang for your buck, and get her that one (though I think $70 for 2.5 ounces or whatever may be too steep, so I still recommend the 1.7 ounce in any case.)

go for the smaller size. that way it won't "go off" before she can use it. If you get the big bottle sometimes they change scents if you take a long time (like years) to use them up. Check out department stores. They usually have lots of great gift packs and free gifts with purchases around this time of year. Lancome have great gifts with purchase at Xmas time (they do in Australia, anyway). but you usually only get the bonuses if you buy it from a department store here. I ounce is about 30ml, and that's the smaller size bottle, but its not tiny. It won't look like you've given her a sample bottle or anything!!

If this is what you think she'd want, go for it. Get the 1 ounce - maybe cheapest. and it lasts such a long time, sometimes we do wish we could give it to someone else after using it for 10 months or so, we do get tired of it and like to try some other fragrance.

its the thought that counts. mothers love to smell good anyways. and just the thought of having something tiny that they don't have to share with anyone is very special. isn't there a saying about big things come in small packages. You and your family should pitch in to get her the perfume that way she feels even more special. At least she would know that you all thought of her and what she wanted.

I'd get her the 1 ounce. What if her body chemistry doesn't agree with it? Either way, you don't go broke and she'll be so happy. A happy Mom is a...... well, you get the idea.

How thoughtful! Perfume always comes in small bottles because it's very concentrated...you only need a little. If you don't have a lot of money, get her the small one, or shop around at other stores because stores are different.
Good luck!
Merry Christmas!

One ounce is small, but it's ok because one is not supposed to drench themselves in perfume. Small is good if your buying anything like lotion or perfume or something that you haven't tried before. It's less waste if she finds out that she doesn't like it after all.

Just get her the small size or you could see if they have the lotion and get that instead. If you can't afford the big one i know your mom will understand and love it just the same. Look around different department stores to check out prices!
