I'm an Asian male and I'm turning 17 in a month... I was wondering if I'd grow any taller. I'm at about 5'8 right now, but I'm still not quite satisfied with my height. Is my growth spurt over? I've already developed pubic hair and whatnot, and my voice seems to be done with...

I forgot to mention... is there anything that can help in my growth? Unfortunately, my last year of high school has been hectic and I almost have no exercise these days... I'm often forced to sleep at 12+ due to my workload, would these factors affect my growth?

Men stop growing at 21, so plenty of height yet.

You will probably grow another 3 inches or so.

Dude your 17. Your life can not be that hectic. And if your 5'8 now you might (i repeat MIGHT) grow a little more. Theres no real way of knowing unless you go and get you genetic's looked at, and i dont think youd have the money for that. It all depends on your body, and rarley do our bodies do what we want. So what if your only 5'8. And yeah your growth spurt is most likey over. Sorry dude : (

Your main growth spurt is complete, but you can still squeeze in an inch or two I believe, just eat all natural whole foods, stay away from junk, eat lots of meat. Yeah, you need at least nine hours a night; sleep is very important for Growth Hormone, which, well, makes you grow (among other things)

For us Asians, very seldom we possess heights. Normally, the average height is 5'5" for men and 5'3 for women. At your age, having 5'8 height is an achievement. So stop worrying about. As you grow older, your height will increase and you see when you reach 30, your'e 6 footer. Vitamins and minerals sold in the market which will enhance your height are just marketing strategy to sell their products fooling consumers of the real and actual effects thought it might help which is up to you.

My kids all hit a growth spurt between 18 and 19, one going from 5'9" to 6'4". At any rate don't worry as you're already average height.

Genetics! Ask your parents if they had growth spurts at 17? Thats what I did, I'm 5'7 and they said "No". ><

O i've also read about sleeping in complete darkness helps you grow? Asian people keep on saying how playing basketball and karate helps too. Thats annoying.

I had a friend who went from 5'8" to 6'4" between the ages of 18 and 21. He left me feeling like a little kid.

Theres an X-Ray you can do on your wrist or something of that nature, where they look at your growth plate and can tell you if you will grow anymore. Not sure, but hope it helps.
