I have a problem i have not gotten my period since oct. 25 i have taken two pregnancy tests and they bolth came out clearly negative. I think it maybe stress because if I am pregnant it would be my bosses child and he and i are not on speaking terms at this molment. So I am hoping that it's just stress because of the horrible situation I put my self in.

OK. Nothing is more important than your health. That includes your emotional, mental and spiritual health. You are feeling really bad right now and you need to see two experts: An OB-GYN and a psychologist or counselor. When home pregnancy tests are known to give false positives. You need to have the blood test done or go to Planned Parenthood. After you learn whether you are pregnant you will have to decide what to do with your relationship with your boss. Don't beat yourself up for making a mistake or doing something you regret. Everyone does it. You're still a great person with a lot to offer the world. Just hold your chin up high and you'll make it through this. Good luck! email me if you need to chat. Hang in there.

Oh dear, sex with your boss is never good, because it puts you in a very dangerous situation determined entirely by the boss' own mental stability. This also happens to be exactly the sort of situation that causes stress.

I suggest taking control of your situation and feeling more positive about your future by researching more job opportunities. If your job is that stressful in the first place (complications with boss or not), it can never hurt to consider a change. It would be fun, give you a chance to re-start your life. You can look into a different kind of work if you don't like your current type of job, or look for a similar job in a new place if you're good at it.

Having that safety net of a potential new job is not only a good idea for a person in your position, it also lowers stress because if things do take a turn for the worse, you'll be able to easily escape.

The same problem happened to me- I was so incredibly stressed out that I missed a period for the first time in my life. This of course made me think I was pregnant, which stressed me out even more. Take some long bubble baths with some Norah Jones in the background and unwind. Play out the worst-case scenarios in your head and figure out a way to live with those scenarios. If you can do that, you'll be fine. Chances are you're not pregnant and just stressed. Best wishes!

Im a male, but this did happen to me (my girlfriend). After skimming the answers, apparently stress or whatever can have an effect. But, in my case, the missed period ment what you would expect from such a situation. She took three tests, all came out negative, untill a month later, when it finaly came out positive. I was 17, she was 15, and no mater what you think of abortion now, your mind changes rappidly when you find yourself in that situation. Im suprised to find out how many people realy have abortions, me, three of my friends (one 4 times); it sucks, but its better than the alternatives sometimes. Dont stress it too much...

It could be ANYTHING, pregnancy is NOT the only "illness" that can make one skip a period. You could have a bladder infection, a yeast infection, it might be a kidney infection. It could also be an STD, stress or something else. If I was over a month late on my period and didn't think I was pregnant I'd be at the doctor wanting to know just WHAT was going on.

The part regarding having intercourse with my superior... No.

The part regarding absence of my menstrual cycle and a negative result on home pregnancy tests... Yes.

The culprit was stress.

Like many have mentioned already, the best advice for confirmation is to schedule an appointment with your physician.
Good Luck.

Well when did you take the last test? I would consider taking another & than going to your OB or Doctor for a blood pregnancy test as false negatives a somewhat common. Good Luck

Your right, it might be stress. But I know some ladies they wont show a positive test until they are many months in. You should see a doctor and maybe get a blood test done.
