I don't think so. I believe that through the eyes of the masses you have to have an untimely death (the closer to the peak of the career the better). Take Elvis, Lennon, Tupac, Nirvana (Cobaine) they are all looked on as innovators...they were all great but if they had loomed on and careers died instead, the legacy of their life and rank would have changed.
I think that you make that decision...sounds like you have. GUnit!

No. The rappers back in the day when hip hop and rap first started are probably higher up. They paved the way for all the other rappers. To say that 50 Cent is the best of all time would put to shame the ones who struggled to get where they are now, giving life to rap and hip-hop. 50 Cent would not be where he was if Eminem hadn't helped give him a record deal

Hey, good to see so many people who like 2Pac, he is legendary.
OK, heres some PHYSICAL proof that 50 doesnt care for the rap game anymore, just the money:

Listen to something from Get Rich or Die Tryin' or Beg 4 Mercy (Released before he was rich)

Now listen to something from Get Rich or Die Tryin' the SOUNDTRACK (Released when he was already rich)

Notice the difference in tone, feeling, and subject of songs?

G-Unit is a bunch of commercial sellout artists who went pop instead of making real hip-hop.

R.I.P. Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G. and anyone else who died trying to make a difference

No, Tupac is the greatest rapper of all time.

nope..... I only liked one of his songs....."21 Questions"
Yes, it is "21 questions", even though in the song it says 20 questions.

Nelly is the greatest rap artist of all time. Then Usher.
I like Ja Rule's voice, though, but I only like him if he sings with Ashanti

50 Cent is good but he is second-rate when it comes to Big L

One of my favorite Big L lines goes:
Ask Beavis, I get nothing Butt Head
