OK once again- windows task manager question?

I have AVG, Tweaknow, Spybot and Adaware and i still cant find out why my task manager wont show anything but the processes. Is there a simple way to get the apllications tabs and the other tabs back??

Does the task manager window have the minimize, restore, and close buttons? If not, try double clicking the frame of the window. Even if you do, try double clicking the frame.

If you double click near the tabs (not on them) it changes the task manager and hides the minimize, restore, and close buttons and the tabs. Double click the frame of the window to change it back to normal.

Are you talking about the Task Manager or theTaskbar?

The Task Manager shows programs loaded and which may not be responding (in case of a freeze).

The Taskbar shows icons for open programs and files along with icons for programs you chose to have in "quick launch."

Right-click on an empty space on the Taskbar and choose Toolbars, then cl "quick launch."

After you open a file or two, if you do not see buttons on the Taskbar, I'm wondering if you didn't accidentally drag the sizing handle over. It's easy to do! Look on the Taskbar for a vertical bar. If you get the two-headed horizontal arrow, drag it over a bit to see if anything shows.

You could try the System Restore which takes you back to a time when your computer was working good. Go To:
start
programs
accessories
systems tools
system restore
This process is completely reversable. And does not remove your personal files. Just go back one checkpoint at a time until your puter is working good again.
You may need to reinstall any recent software programs, but it is a quick fix when you dont know what else to do.

Double left click on the task mgr border and all will come back!

this is what happened to me to day but it only show the users, so what i did was i double clicked the side i hope this works for you
