Or do you just want the watch, if he's wearing one, to look nice.

I don't care about what watch my date is wearing. It's much more important for me to know that a guy is respectful, has good character and is a pleasant person to be around. What type of watch he's wearing seems trivial and irrelevant, but each girl is different, so I can only speak for myself.

I don't think watches are the first thing a girl will notice. Wear whatever brand you want, just make sure to look nice and that the watch goes with however formal your outfit is. Ex. Don't wear a big bulky sports watch with a tux. Common sense.

I think it just needs to look good with what he's wearing.

Guys should have a watch wardrobe, similar to a belt or shoe wardrobe.

If he is casual, then a casual watch is fine. I like the look of the wide leather cuff with a watch for a little edge on a guy.

Dressed up, a nice brushed metal one or even a streamlined leather band with a dark face.

I could care less what brand of watch he's wearing, weather it looked nice or not, or even if he didn't wear a watch at all.

Are you looking to buy an expensive watch? If you are, don't unless you can afford it, truly want it etc. If you are wearing crappy clothes but have a $1,000 watch it'll look strange anyway. Ladies like guys who are clean, polite, well-groomed etc. Watch doesn't factor in much, honestly. If it's a big, ugly, tacky fake gold one then obviously that isn't a good idea, but as long as it doesn't look ridiculous you should be fine.

My boyfriend (of one year - so clearly we're not together b/c of a watch) wears a watch he picked up at the lost-and-found at his gym....it was sitting there for a few weeks and no one claimed it. Voila, abandoned property yields its title of ownership to whomever picks it up.

I don't recall it being of any particular brand, but it serves a useful purpose and it's a nice combination of stainless steel and the dark blue face. Anything that helps him be more punctual is all I really care about!!

honestly, when a guy i barely know starts flashing his wrist with a big, diamond watch, i usually think it is fake or not real. i never really take notice to watches, unless they are thrown in my face. most people i know use their cell phones for the time anyway:) no, i could care less what brand a watch is.

Honestly, I don't care what brand of anything he is wearing. I actually rather him be the type that doesn't try to look good, but still looks good anyways.

I don't, as long as it matches what you're wearing at that time. If a woman cares about the brand, leave her, she just wants your money.
