OK Imagine a hypothetical society where men and women are segregated...?

Question

A city is built for the men and a city is built for the women...which would cave first, what kind of stuff would happen?


And I ask this, cause ultimately I'm hoping the answers will show that both would suffer without the other, not to contribute to the 'gender wars'.

It's hard to say which would cave first, but I think that the same kind of stuff would happen on each side: they would be alright for a while, but it would start to go different way
1. Some people would start to yearn for the other sex
2. Some would be happy to be amongst their own sex
3. Some would give in to pressure and become homosexual

1 Could possibly comit suicide after a while, or become depressed, or lonely. They would be the type that tends to make more friendships with the opposing sex. 2 would either become a 1 or a 3 eventually. 3 would be happy, unless they changed their mind. No one would be completely happy with it, but not everyone would cave. It depends to what extent people were separated, and what measure were taken to separate them.

one will turn gay and one lesbian, mavie. end of civilization if no reproduction. once the segregation starts, everyone will b happy ( exept the people that were atached to the opposite gender). the girls would do girl stuff and the boys will be boys. untill one day they all get bored and will start missing each other, so they try to break the law but the police will intervene. people will start protesting and the world will go bk to normal. yea so its a no no kus it would end the civilization. its just humanly wrong!!!! ( no cloning!!!!)yes, if a man depended on a woman and a woman depended on a man, then the woman would have to act like a man and the man would have to act like a woman, think that would be adapting to the environment.( responding to not having the oposite sex)

depening on the lack of communicatios between the sexes both would adapt to suit the societys needs....eventually
the cities would be busy with orgizinational rules and politics for a while.personally women are better planners and negoitators for goods and services..men however are better at the pshical aspects of building , and aquiring things..

I believe that men would cave first simply because men are more reliant on women for emotional needs. We rely on men more for physical needs. I do agree that we need each other.
