Yes it is true. If you download mp3 files, or any other type of file from p2p programs such as music, movies, and software are committing theft and piracy.
You can be prosecuted even if you don't sell they programs or files for monetary gains.

Hi. Yes it is. The RIAA sued a grandmother because her grandchild downloaded copyright material into her PC. Yeah RIAA! Big tough guys.

you cant be persecuted but you can get into some serious trouble with the law
