Darling, wax or use hair removing cream. Don't shave. Trust me. You're juz gonna get ur hair on your legs to be rough and if you wax, it'll be smoother longer it goes the same for hair removing cream too. But before you do that, ask your parents if u can wax or use the cream. If they say no to that, then you juz ask them why, and reason out with them. My mom didn't let me shave my legs and boy am i glad. She did let me wax tho. And baby, when i say reason out with ur parents i don't mean argue.... ciao

Shaving is inevitable; you will shave your legs eventually anyway, so if you reveal them a lot, and if the hair is noticable, then shave them. However, I think you should explain to your parents that you would feel more confident having shaved legs. They may not want you to shave them because they think you may start dressing provacatively like some teenagers do and attract the wrong guys, etc...so they're just looking out for you. Tell them that you're doing it for yourself so that they know it's not for the wrong reasons. Good luck.

You poor soul. I would still shave, just wear long pants and stuff around the house. Or get them waxed, I mean you didn't shave them right? Bring your razor to your room and back. I mean your 15, not like 10.

you don't say how old you are but if the hair is bothering you then talk to her again. I would never tell you to just go against your mother but why doesn't she want you to shave. If you feel you need to than discuss it with her. I know some kids can be cruel and had a friend whose mom said the same thing she got teased. Anyway If it bothers you, tell her

If you feel like it, shave. If you dont, be like me and be a hairy beast. =P
Pros of shaving: You look good. You look good. And.. its cheap.
Cons of shaving: You could cut yourself. You'll have stubble (Little short hairs). You could get ingrown hairs (hairs growing within the surrounding tissue rather than out of the follicle.) And.. its cheaper to NOT shave.
Read the site in my source before you choose, or, you could just be theHAIRYbeast you know you can be. =D.

Wow, you're 15 and don't shave? That sucks.
Well, I never asked my parents 'cause I was embarassed about shaving, and I just went and did it. They found out, and they weren't mad or anything.
Just do it-I don't think that it's that big of a deal, and you probably really need it. (No offense!!!)
Good luck!

I have read that it is NOT TRUE that shaving makes your hair darker, thicker, coarser, etc.
Think of it this way... If shaving made you grow more hair, or thicker hair, wouldn't people who are going bald start shaving in order to get more hair????
Talk to your mom about it some more... convince her.

How old are you? Is your age the reason that they don't want you to shave your legs? You should have given more info.
