I thought 7th Heaven was canceled? Can anyone tell me why its back and how long it will be around? I love the show but when I watched the last show it kinda ended the series for me....can someone fill me in please?

The CW wanted to bring it back for at least one more season. I kinda wish that I had just watched last season's finale, and let it end there. Some of the actors did not resign on. The character of Simon didn't, and I think the girl that plays Ruthie only signed for a limited number of episodes. It may have been more interesting if Simon had resigned on, and we scould have heard more about the Simon/Sandy affair. In the first episode of this season you find out that Lucy miscarried the twins, and the first few episodes revolve around that. Then the next few episodes revolve around the twins' much younger teacher having a crush on Erik, and the mom going to New York to help Mary with her twins. While she is gone, Erik starts homeschoolong the twins, takes in three homeless kids, and finds out that he only has one year to live. The last few episodes were about him trying to keep the secret. Now everyone is finding out, and Ruthie is brought home from Scotland to be with the family.

it came back for I think one more season I love the show watch it every week. Right now Eric is dying supposingly tomorrow night he's gonna find out that he has one year to live. Ruthie came back from Scotland and is now home. They had taken in some kids that needed a place to stay. so the house is now full again. Simon hasn't been back on yet I don't know if he's gone permently or just absent right now.

cos its old news. my sis loves the show too. but its jus taht not taht many people are watchin it anymore and there are other shows at the same time competiting with 7th heaven.

I love that show but I think that they renewed it because of the ratings on the last episode I forgot where i heard that

If you enjoy it, that's fine. I tried watching it and someone asked for my impression. I said, "Dawson's Party of 90210." If you like the characters, fine. It has too much of a soap opera in it to interest me, though.
