Will the water rides at Walt Disney World (Splash Mountain ect.), Universal Studios (Jaws ect.), and Sea World (Journy to Atlantas) be open in January? I am going December 31st to January 7th. Thanks!

Yes sir, they sure will, although I can't speak for Universal Studios since I've never been into their parks. Journey to Atlantis at Sea World will be open but if it's a cold day, I'd suggest skipping this one as you tend to get pretty wet.

As for the water rides at Disney, if it's a cold day, skip the Rapids ride in Animal Kingdom. If you're on the down side of the raft when it heads over the waterfall, you're going to get drenched. AND I MEAN DRENCHED! You won't have a dry spot anywhere.
Splash Mountain isn't too bad. You may get a little wet but you won't get drenched.

As for the water parks... Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. At least one of them is open year round. Each of them closes in the winter for about two months for maintenance and cleaning but they stagger the closings so one of the two will be open.

Yep! The are open 365. They have only closed once in history and that was because of a hurricane.

Yes, unless it is down for maintenance the day you go, they stay open.
The water parks will be closed though.
