i really like this guy at school and he knows that i like him
1 of his friends says he likes me, but i dont believe him because he is always messing around. I m being to much of a whimp? should i just ask him out and hope he says yes? How would i wask him out? I need help!

Well you'll never know until you ask. You can always play it off - like ask him if he seen a certain movie before. Or what kind of food he likes -- that's like throwing hints and if he's interested - he'll ask you to a movie and possibly somewhere yall can go eat out at. Or maybe he feels the same way you do: too scared to straight out and ask you out. You are not a whimp. Nobody likes rejection - he may or may not like you. If he does and is too scared to tell you or ask you, you could try passing him a note asking if he'd like to go somewhere with you and "hang-out". But if he doesn't - that's not your loss honey -- that's HIS. Good luck.

your not a wimp...your just afraid of rejection.
If you are interested in the guy ,find some common interests and get involved. This way the two of you can spend some time together and hopefully you can get to know each other better. In time perhaps it can blossom into something more.

Try just talking with him at lunch, before school, after classes i.e.
He should be the one to express getting together with you or he is the whimp.

Ask him to get coffee or something not as intense as asking out. If he says yes you have a chance to take it a step further.
