The ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs. Most blogs are primarily textual although some focus on photographs (photoblog), videos (vlog), or audio (podcasting), and are part of a wider network of social media.
The term "blog" is derived from "Web log." "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.

lol, plain and simple...a blog is like a chatboard that lets you talk about whatever you want...it's like going to a public place and just pinning a piece of paper on a board somewhere that you wrote on.

its your very own web site. you can post text pictures, sometimes even other files there, password it, or open it. google msn i think yahoo has em, and others. kinda like a diary.
