I notice the distance. If the person will not respond to me and/or chooses not to discuss it, I leave them be. You cannot force friendship or even acquaintanceship. As you know, everyone we meet is not going to be a part of our life forever....some are for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.

No I'm always here. They are the ones who have distanced themselves from me.

If they have already distanced themselves there is no need for me to distance myself. I just hold my ground, let them move back in or farther away.

Depends on how close we were in the first place, and the level of our relationship for example, girlfriend, family, ex-girlfriend friend, best friend ect. but if one of them distances there self away from me, hurt me, and said that they didn't want anything to do with me, i'd let them go, theres no point trying to hold togheter a relationship, to someone that you like, when they don't even want you in there life, your just going to look stupid.

Depends on who they are and what they mean to me and why they distanced themselves...
Sometimes it's better to just let people walk away.

Depends on who they are.
-If it is a member of my family, someone I love, I would try to stay in touch anyway, and hope things will turn out okay in the end.
-If a friend distanced him or herself from me, I would email them and ask them for the reason......I would also ask them to honestly tell me if they want me to step out of their lives, and if that's their desire, I would!!!! (no need trying to hold on to someone YOU like, when you're not liked back by that person, it will only hurt both of you)

I STAYED PUT. if i move further, it'll just make the distance wider. But if i move closer, they'll only move more further away.
so i didnt go anywhere, if they decide to change their mind, im still here. if they decide to widen the gap more, ill just wait till they no longer in my sight.

Sometimes.....yes. Because there are some people who just need to be left alone for a while. If they come around, then great. If not, then a purpose of some sort has been served.....
