Forever 21 is inexpensive, but be aware that the clothes look really cheap, and they won't last very long; the quality is really poor. Marshalls, Ross, and TJ Maxx can be reasonable also. Also, watch for sales and clearance sales at major department stores such as Macy's. Whatever does not sell goes to stores such as Ross; I have seen three tops that I paid around $8 at Macy's on the clearance rack. I saw the same tops at Ross and their price was $14.99.

I'm being really honest when I say garage/yard sales or thrift shops. Retro is really in now. Piece together an outfit with a swanky belt, shoes, and bag, and people will think you're right out of Cosmo. I'm not kidding. These days...anything goes!
