Well, they get closer to the body, but I don't think they're actually supposed to go inside the body. I think that's how semen gets squeezed out. It feels so good! When a guy's testes are in that position, you can make him feel very good by gently stroking them. I mean, you barely have to touch them at all. Don't neglect the rest of his body (I, for one, love to be stroked/touched/rubbed all over), but remember that the testes and the insides of the thighs are pretty much the most erotic areas on a man. The testis usually hang low so the sperms can live. They come closer when a man gets sexually excited so the semen can come out faster.

Balls tighten up in order to ejaculate. Also they are pulled out of the way, so as the guy loses control, he won't smash them inadvertently. Younger guys generally will have the balls retract up higher, sometimes even up to or beside the penis where they descended from at an early age. As guys age, they tend to not retract quite so high, in some guys they can retract so high they may need to be physically prodded back down to keep from being painful.

From experience, it feels even better if the women presses up on the testies as they are moving up also, so the women presses them even farther then they would normally go

Thats where the gizz comes from, so in order to make the gizz shoot out the dong the nuts retract. Not sure if thats the actual truth but its probably somewhat right.
