I have a problem with this myself, but the best way to deal with jealous people is to ignore it. The jelous have inner problems, they don't like who THEY are. They wish they were someone else, and take it out on people who are "better" than them. Just ignore them!

How to deal with a jealous person: you don't.
If you don't want drama - you don't deal with it. There is way too many people in this world that have issues they either ain't over or will never get over. That's not your fault. You shouldn't have to pay for someone else's mistakes. And if someone is constantly bringing out or pointing out flaws on you or about you --- who is perfect anyway??? Nobody. Everybody has flaws. Nobody is perfect. You don't need someone that is constantly trying to drag you down on their level. Misery loves company friend. Move on. If anything, you need someone that will push you up in life; someone that will lift you up and encourage you and make you feel good about yourself -- stop the madness and do what you gotta do. Only you can make that decision. Good luck to you.

Sounds like you already answered your own question. Usually someone putting someone down and looking for their faults is because they are jealous of you. Just try to ignore them as though what ever they say doesn't bother you in the least and hopefully they'll move along. If you show them they are bothering you most people like that will continue. Good luck to you. ;o)

Depend on how well you know the person or not you can either do two things. One ignore them and just carry on with being your self because as Dr.Seuss stated "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." Or say if there your close friend you can deal with the problem instead of ignoring the fact.

Some people feel like they need to find fault in others in order to make themselves look better, and feel better, about themselves. It's an insecurity issue when people feel the need to constantly put others down. They admire you and your qualities, even evny you and/or the things you have in your life, and since they can't have what you have or are, they put you down.

You should actually take their jealousy as a compliment. Their reason for putting you down is because you have something they don't and they are insecure about themselves. Don't deal with people like that. Period.

They want to make themselves feel better and the only way they can do this is causing others to doubt themselves. I just brush it off, who cares.
