Never seems to happen the other way around with America or Europe. What's so special about Japan?

Japan have a lot prolific producers, they are second to none.

In the old days, Europe did used to have more tracks than Americans. In the case of the Beatles and other (at least in the sixties) albums in the US would have 8-12 title tracks and Europe would often have 4 more. But those extra tracks were used for seperate albums here. When coorporations started getting hold inde. music companies in Europe, that changed. The tracks became no more than 13 or so tracks on one album. But Europe and Asia in general have always had more than that and continue to do so.
