Your name is amazingly close to mine give or take a couple of letters.... anyway, the pill most of the time keeps a womans cycle regulated. When you stop taking the e xtra hormones, your body gets mixed up for a few days to weeks, especially if ones hormones are a little out of whack to begin with, as some girls are, so your body has to realize its regular hormone route or path so to speak and get re-regulated, if that can be used as a word. Please use protection when needed because if your hormones are "out of whack" then you can easily get pregnant even in the first couple of days!
As ridiculous as it sounds, my hormones had gotten out of whack with a lot of stress, working hard, and my cycles had gotten erratic (they never were before unless I was really stressed) and I thought finally I am going to make a well woman appointment to get myself checked out... did that and learned I was 5.5 months pregnant!!!!! With no CLUE~

From what my doctor told me, it can take as long as 6 months for your body to sort itself out and get back on its own natural cycle. If you KNOW you're not pregnant (as in, you peed on the stick and saw only 1 line), then I'd say relax. Stress can also cause your period to be late--it's a sort of vicious cycle, huh?

Depends how old you are. If you are under 25 erratic periods are common. I would call your gyno because not only will you get the best answer, but he/she knows your medical history. Besides, hearing it from your doctor is always comforting.
