Is it comparable to Indiana Jones from Disneyland? I'm not a big fan of rollercoasters, but wanted to know how scary this Mummy Returns ride is. I've been on the Jurassic Park ride that was a good one, I'd go again. Any one been on this Universal Studios Mummy Returns ride?

The ride is pretty good. I was scared of it before but when i got on the ride it was really fun. It is also pretty fast and it goes backwards but it is not even close to indiana jones.

If you are not a fan of roller coasters, I do not suggest the Mummy for you. It is not a large roller coaster though and it does not go upside down, it just goes fast at some parts with some twists and turns, but nothing huge. Jurassic Park on the other hand is not a roller coaster and to most is considered more of a calm ride. At the beginning you are taken through 'Jurassic Park' and in the end you do go down a drop, which honestly is fast, but it's nothing huge and it's the only one on the entire ride. Other rides that I suggest are The Simpsons Ride which is the newest ride there, it is fabulous. Along with that, Shrek 4D is also great, and you sit in a seat that moves, no fast motion and nothing similar to a roller coaster. My personal favorite is not a ride, but is the studio tour which takes you through the backlot where you get to see where tons of famous movies have been made by going through the sets on a train sort of ride. It's amazing! Have a great trip!

Its not bad. And I love roller coasters and the big scary rides they have at Six Flags. So I wasn't expecting a ride at Universal Studios to be so great, but I enjoyed both Jurassic and the Mummy. The first time is a bit scary because you don't know what to expect. But it is fun. (hint: If there is a big lineup, you can go as a "single rider" and you will get on the ride a lot faster.)

It's not the most exciting roller coaster in the world. If you love theming, and a roller coaster like an Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom, you will like this coaster. If you just like coasters for having quite thrilling parts, this isn't really your thing (in my opinion).

The main part of the ride is really just helixes (roller coaster circles around). The first part of the ride is more like a dark ride like Snow White's Scary Adventure, but more money was spent, and then you get to the roller coaster part. It was just disappointing to me.

it is OK...i mean it is nothing compared to ShiKra or Montu, but it is fun. All it really does is go up and down a few times...i didn't see a lot of it, because i had my eyes closed and a DEATH GRIP on my dad's arm... i mean come on it was only my 11th B-Day and today is my B-Day and i am12 so i am onto bigger and WAY better rides.

It's better than Indiana Jones but not as good as Thunder Bolt.

It's really odd. You go backwards, and that's pretty much the highlight of it.

It ends too quickly in my opinion, but it seems to be one of Universals more popular rides, and faster ones.
It also is'ent too thrilling, but it is fun and I enjoy it everytime I ride it.
