yes! but also try to give it a little time if you see thst it is going on for a good bit depending on what caused the pain, you as a caring person/ friend should intervine, so that depressing does not be an factor. But yeah give them their personal space and time to express how thry feel and then to put yourself in thier position and how would you feel and would you want some one to allow or try to deny you your pain. Well time will heal all pains GOOD LUCK!!!!!! I hope I helped you out .

Not my choice.
As far as that goes, the older I get, the more I learn from dealing with pain. So, even if I would not choose it for anyone, pain can be an important, even necessary part of the maturation process. I really don't see how we can develop compassion without it.
Peace,
;-)

Pain has a meaning, a usefulness that we sometimes don't value or care to understand; I have found that you have to let someone feel pain to find its meaning that is, to stop it from hurting, when that has happened I am around to help the healing process.

There is a part of suffering that has to be endured alone. I stand watch from a close distance, ready to hug or listen.

It's tough. I am, by nature, a 'Fixer', but sometimes it is necessary to step back and just allow them to feel it.
