I had a miscarriage last year. My doc told me to start ttc after 3 months. Now it is 9 months since we have been trying to conceive & nothing yet. Both my hubby & me have gotten our physicals done and everthing is normal from Docs stand point. I was supposed to start my period today but have not gotten it yet. HPT is neg. How long before i take the HPT again

im going to try and make a long story short. we tried. didnt get preg.until i decided to try after 12-15days after my period. she is now 9yrs old. i have a 28day cycle. the second time i tried to have a baby i did it again about 4yrs later. i again conceived after counting the days after my period. after 4mths i miscarried. i fell two times also my blood pressure was up all the time and i was told that it had been some time since the other child and i could not remember what it was like being pregnant. i knew something was wrong. after the miscarraige i was told to wait a month and try again. i did and got pregnant after the period again. little did i know that this time it was a blighted ovum. its being pregnant with a sac and with out a baby inside. at that moment i thought that i was going to faint. its like what could be worse? well after all the drama, a very nice nurse told me to wait 3mths to conceive and take 1mg? of folic acid in the mean time. she said that the next time i would be ok. i waited 3mths then had my period and starting counting from the first day to the 12-15 and had sex almost everyday even though they say to do it every other day. i also used the ovulation kit just incase for all of my pregnancies. just to let you know i did have the second baby. 9yr and 3yr old girls today. i did have a lot of support from my friends that miscarried too. you miscarrying also reminds you that at least you can get pregnant...some women dont get that far. one of my friends miscarried 5 times before she had a baby then couldnt get pregnant for 13yrs before having another child. get a prescription from your doc for the folic acid1mg i think. not over the counter. alot of people swear by it. if you have a 28day cycle, the moment you spot, count up to 12 days and get ready for some sex, try on the 13,14,15 after that theres not much hope. even if you guys dont want to have sex that day just get it over with. i remember feeling like it was a job sometimes because those days we seemed to be busy or tired. dont know what the hpt is but if its not working try my method. good luck. one thing i know is when i can and cannot get pregnant. also if i decide to try again what am i in for? i have indured so much that i tell myself now if its meant to be it will happen. also can i go through anymore pain? i dont want to but if i have to miscarry again just to have another baby its something that i have to live with. hey if i had quit after the miscarrage and blighted ovum i wouldnt have my 3yr old. the pain and suffering will pass and you will one day realize that god works in mysterious ways. everyday is a journey and boy am i being tested with my children. good luck

Wait a few days honey! Sorry you're having a little bit of trouble conceiving. Stress and worry doesn't help. Relax and things will happen.
I'd wait a couple days, then test with your first pee of the morning. It will be more concentrated. Good luck!
