Buy packs of cards and staple them together like garland(banners).
Have maybe two types of tables where ppl can play for ex. Texas Hold 'Em and Blackjack. Give them poker chips to play with and at the end of the night maybe have ppl w/most poker chips or the top 3 winners get prizes. Maybe require they bring a poker chip that u send by mail w/their names written on it as entry to the party or u could use the cards for this also. I love the bouncer and waitress ideas, too!

Hi totally-a-princess, I'm a caterer and we do a lot of "casino" themed events. Some ideas you could use would be: set up square folding tables(these can be rented), have friends/family be the dealers(dressed in white dress shirts w/vests,garters on their arms), have lots of balloon bouquets(white,red&black latex) tied with gold ribbons, chocolate candy coins along with regular "chips" and "scratchers" are great for the winners. I don't know how many people will be attending or your budget? I would buy about $20-$50 dollars worth of the $1.00 scratchers. Cups w/dice&playing cards. If your budget will allow it, have friends/family serve cocktails like at a real casino(dressed in themed outfits) Another idea that always goes over great is to hire a "magician". You can find them on the web and they aren't too expensive and provide a lot of fun(they are hired by the hour/gig). As far as food, I would go with "finger-foods". It could be "cheese and crackers, shrimp(large), olives,pickles,veggies,chips & dips"...basically people are happy when there's something to munch on! Have Fun! XOXO Moonpie P.S. how about having a good friend " rig " a game where they get caught cheating ? I did this at a party and got caught cheating as I had a hand of " 5 aces ". had another guest in on this as the " house detective " and this was a very interesting diversion.

Have a big man/friend dress up as a bouncer to collect coats at the front door.

Have cocktail waitress' with their boobs hanging out, just like real vegas. Also, have your house be really smokey, and have a cigar woman walking around. Casinol games would be good too.
