Alot of times if your stool does not get evacuated and sits in your colon for long periods of time it can become green. Alot of foods with dye in them can also turn it green but either way, it should get back to normal in a day or two.

The only time my feces turned green (and I mean GREEN like the colour of Yahoo Answers)...was when I ate half a box of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cookies. Those cookies were almost fluorescent green! I don't think they make those anymore.

Your feces typically are the result of what you ate 18 hours earlier. If it is green, you most likely had a salad or other green leafy vegetables approximately 18 hours earlier.

Think about what you ate in the day or two before you passed the green feces. That is the source of the color.

oh thats because you ate froot loops or fruit by the foot. Any foods with dyes in them will turn your bowel movement green. If you eat fresh beets you could have very red stool....this sounds like holiday colors...sorry

Well, since you apologized for the question upfront. =)
Usually, green color is caused by eating leafy greens. Eating a lot of spinach can cause this.

There's no such thing. I looked up Feeces in the dictionary just to make sure I understand the question. The dictionary specifically states that there is no such thing as Feeces, and I suspect you are weird.
So why exactly are you asking a question about something that doesn't exist? I'd really like to know that, cause I used to study weird psychology.

There is a dye in grape Kool-Aid (and probably in similarly colored drinks) that will turn it green.
