So many people hate Uggs, but why?
They come in all different things like Mocasins and Slipper and everything. There is something for everybody. Why do some people hate them?

Because they're played. It's like anything else...once a lot of people have them, there becomes a backlash against them. It happens in fashion, music along with almost everything else. If you like them who cares what other people think.

Well Prep,
I am getting uggs, and the name can be decieving. There are acutally quite cute. Some people are probably jealsous they don't look good, in uggs so they say uggs-gs+ly=ugly.
I used to hate them because of the name but now i love the inside of them and the outside

UGG bella mocs are my favorite.
They're so freaking comfy and warm.
UGGs do come in a lot of shapes and sizes, so there's a lot of variety.
But a lot of people think of just plain short or tall uggs when you mention the name. Since a lot of people wear them in very cliche and boring, not to meantion ugly ways -- uggs, miniskirt-- then everyone thinks they're ugly.
However, a lot of people also wear them for comfort and not for fashion.
Anyway, it's just a personal thing. If you like them, wear them. If not, don't.
Just like with many other things.

Not everyone hates them. Personally, I love them. I've ordered a pair of Bella's and they are the most adorable things ever. And for the people that say they look "retarded" in the winter.... HELLO! UGG "AUSTRAILIA." They're for both winter and summer.

I don't dislike them its just when a group of girls decide to all wear matching uggs and matching everything else that it gets annoying for me like have some individuality

i don't hate Uggs, i actually like them alot, especially the boots :)..but maybe one reason is that because the moccasins/slippers don't look good on a lot of people

I dont know, to each his own I guess. I thought they were really ugly until I went to the site and saw these Uptown II ones, jeesh they're cute!

because they are UGG-ly. Why bother wearing a mini skirt with furry boots when it is 65 outside? I never see people in the mid-west where it is actually snowy wearing them. I see them mostly in california where it is never really that cold dressed in feet like an eskimo wears. They serve no purpose.
The only person I have ever known to wear them and not look like a total retard was my college boyfriend who wore them after surfing because his feet were cold from the 50 degree water.

Well they're uggly ahahaha :P
People wear them in the middle of the summer which looks retarded... unless whomever is wearing them has REALLY skinny legs they make them look short/chunky... ummm they're just overrated, overexposed..... not all that attractive. They're like uglified moccasins.

I don't know. i guess alot of people have them and im not sure really. i love them though. they're soo comfy and they match with alot of my clothes.
