i've been depressed since i turned 14 (im now 15 since nov 30th) so thats a year.. and the depression caused a lot of stress on me and im scared its affecting my body development.. i noticed that my friends werent depressed at all the whole time and they have like ''healthy'' chests and everything and im just extremely thin, im about 5'5 or 5'4 and a half and i only weigh 105-106 pounds (i gained 6 pounds since school started..) and so yea im really thin and im a b 34 cup and like all my cousins are probably b 38 or C cups by now and are tall and stuff, it flows in my family to be thin but chest wise im basically the only one without a big chest lol so is it just because of genetics or has the depression affected my growth ?

Depression can affect growth and overall living. Stress can raise the blood pressure and cause tension. This can increase the chances of having a heart attack or stroke. Please get some help. I am taking Buspar for severe anxiety. This has helped decrease my anxiety level a lot. It has also lowered my blood pressure. I would suggest going to the doctor.

maybe it does, not sure, seek a doctors advice, but how bout you try to do some therapy so you feel better inside and outside. If you really want to fix your depression and if you are sick of feeling the way you do all the time, you should have your mom contact your doctor and (your regulaor one) and they can refer you to a really nice therpaist and the insurance pays...this way you can be more happy inside of you and live life better...hope this helps.

Honey, it sounds like you worry too much. You also sound like the average teenage girl!!
Yes, depression can effect every aspect of your life. many times when people are depressed, they don't eat well or eat healthy.

Please, please, please talk to an adult you trust, your mom, a teacher, pastor, someone about the depression.

There are many treatments for depression. Please see a doctor or go to a clinic. There is help for you. Take care!
