nothing in math makes sense except for the shapes (sometimes), the 4 basic skills, the graphs, and some other stuff makes sense.

Geometry makes alot of sense you just need to know the basics of math. Algebra is what doesnt make sense an is point less.

Renae, geometry does make a lot of sense. If you wanted to paint a room, you would need to know the area of the surfaces in order to purchase an adequate amount of paint to cover the walls. This is just one application of geometry.

Actually ... it is all about common sense. Geometry is clear, logical, rational thinking. That is why it is so hard. That is why it is so valuable. It teaches you to think clearly and to make a point (called a proof) logically and correctly. Most people never learn how to do that because it is too hard. Being dumb is easy. Training your mind to think clearly is hard. Keep studying. Learn the definitions. Learn the principles. Practice applying them. Ask for help or get a tutor if you need to. You are training your mind and your thinking to serve you for the rest of your life.
