and pick it up before 5 secs is over do you dust it off and eat it or do you chuck it?

I love this question it's funny! Okay to give you an answer if it is dry I blow on it or shake it a touch and then well eat it of course. Now if it is wet (like a slice of lunch meat) its all about a short rinse under some water to just make it so the dirt or whatnot is not added as flavor. The only time you chuck it is when your in public lets face it!

When I first had kids, if it dropped it went into the trash, but dang they drop EVERYTHING! The zero second rule turned into a 10 second rule where you look for things clinging to it, and if there is nothing yucky on it, eat up!

Yeah, I dust it and eat it.

My sister, who has three kids, says in households with children, it's more like a 10 second rule.

My male friends who are single say it's more like a two week or whenever they find it again rule. (bleh)

Depends where I drop it. If it's in my own house, I'd probably eat it. If I'm at work, I'd probably chuck it.

That depends what it is. If it is something sticky that will pick up any hair, toss it. Most of the time eat it.

It depends on what it is? if it is something really good then i would eat it, if it was something i didnt want in the first place then i would throw it away
